The Position

The Solution Architect (Demand to Pay, Travel & Expense Management) focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing business-driven, standards-based, and future-ready solutions within a complex enterprise context. In this role, you will play a critical role in translating complex business requirements into technical designs for the T&E solutions which includes the Concur platform and other systems, ensuring seamless integration with other enterprise systems and driving continuous improvement. You will lead others to solve complex problems, maintain the vision and roadmap for the T&E landscape, and serve as a key leader and point of escalation for Concur-related issues within the organization.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design T&E solutions that meet product requirements and enterprise standards across a multiple-solution context, managing non-functional requirements (NFRs) and fitness functions while ensuring configurations adhere to data privacy (GDPR/CCPA) and audit requirements.

  • Define and drive reference architectures, ensuring that Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), taxonomies, ontologies, and integration pathways are documented and published for the T&E product.

  • Develop comprehensive architecture documentation and manage data flows between Concur and other enterprise systems, including Workday, SAP ERP, ServiceNow (EPP), IQVIA, and Oversight.

  • Lead the design and management of non-standard integrations utilizing RESTful APIs, WebServices, and secure SFTP, leveraging middleware platforms such as Mulesoft and Denodo.

  • Optimize system performance and business objectives by utilizing reporting systems and data platforms, including Concur Intelligence, Snowflake, and standard reporting configurations.

  • Proactively contribute to the development of global Architecture Practices and provide technical oversight and mentoring to product teams.

  • Maintain the roadmap for T&E solutions, evaluating external technology trends—such as AI-driven expense categorization and RPA— to enhance value and manage technical debt.

Who You Are

  • You have a minimum of 10 years of experience in designing and implementing solutions within the Concur platform, with at least 5 years focused on integration enhancements to and from Concur Intelligence, Travel, and Expense.

  • You possess expert-level knowledge of the Concur modules and a proven track record of integrating them with SAP ERP, HR systems (Workday), and other enterprise applications.

  • You are experienced in RESTful API consumption, data transformation via middleware (Mulesoft/Denodo), and creating conceptual and logical data models.

  • You are capable of maintaining a vision for multiple solutions and assessing the impacts of initiatives on capabilities, risk, and the application landscape.

  • You bring exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to communicate difficult concepts, influencing stakeholders to adopt different points of view or innovative solutions.

  • You have a strong understanding of database concepts, SQL, web services, and XML/JSON data formats.

  • You understand financial accounting principles and industry-specific T&E best practices; experience with pharmaceutical industry regulations is a significant plus.

  • You hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; a "Certified Professional - Expense Configuration" credential is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

The expected salary range for this position, based on the primary location of Warsaw Grafit is 228,900.00 PLN-425,100.00 PLN. Final compensation will be determined by a number of factors, including your skills, experience, qualifications, and location. In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus with a target of 20% subject to both individual and company performance.
