Job Description

Role Description:

This role is part of the Enterprise ServiceNow and Digital Risk Solutions team, responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management (IRM) and Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) solutions.

Specialist IS Engineer - ServiceNow IRM/TPRM will lead full-cycle implementations and enhancements across vendor risk and system risk domains. This role will design scalable, automated, and user-centric risk management workflows that support the complete vendor lifecycle — from onboarding and tiering to assessments, ongoing monitoring, and remediation.

The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on development expertise within the ServiceNow platform, particularly IRM and TPRM modules, combined with deep knowledge of enterprise risk, compliance, and regulatory frameworks. This role partners closely with IRM, GRC, security, compliance, and business stakeholders to ensure risk solutions align with Amgen’s enterprise governance strategy.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the ServiceNow IRM/TPRM Solution Architect, defining scalable architecture, data models, integration patterns, and technical design standards aligned with enterprise risk management objectives
  • Act as the ServiceNow Platform Administrator, managing instance configuration, upgrades, patching, access controls, role-based permissions, governance policies, and overall platform health
  • 4+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience, including full-cycle implementation in ServiceNow IRM and Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) modules
  • Design, configure, and implement the ServiceNow IRM and TPRM modules to support the full vendor and system risk lifecycle, from onboarding and assessments through continuous monitoring and remediation
  • Define architectural standards for risk data structures, vendor tiering frameworks, scoring methodologies, and control libraries to ensure consistency and scalability
  • Lead technical design reviews, ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, and provide governance over customizations and integrations
  • Build and customize vendor and system risk workflows, questionnaires, Smart Assessments, and risk scoring models to enable effective vendor tiering and compliance assessments
  • Develop and enhance Management Workspaces, Service Portal, and UI Builder components to deliver intuitive, role-based user experiences
  • Automate and streamline processes using Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, Record Producers, UI Policies, IntegrationHub, and Glide APIs
  • Design and manage integrations with third-party systems (e.g., security tools, ERP, procurement platforms, CMDB) to enable end-to-end risk visibility
  • Create dashboards, reports, and KPIs that provide visibility into risk posture, control effectiveness, vendor risk exposure, and remediation progress
  • Establish and enforce platform governance, security controls, data integrity standards, and change management processes
  • Partner with IRM, GRC, security, compliance, procurement, and enterprise architecture teams to align technical solutions with regulatory frameworks and enterprise risk strategy
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to developers and administrators while driving continuous improvement of the ServiceNow platform
  • Certifications: ServiceNow CSA, CIS-RC, CIS-TPRM or CAD

If certifications are not already held, the candidate should be willing and able to obtain it within 6 months of joining
