Operating as an integral member of the site leadership team, this leader mentors and develops a high-performing technical workforce, fosters cross-functional collaboration, and fuels innovation—empowering the organization to deliver transformative, life-changing medical devices through operational integrity and technical excellence.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure optimal availability of production equipment.
• Oversee and coordinate maintenance, tool shop, industrial design, and precision workshop teams for equipment and process improvements.
• Manage maintenance, tool shop, and precision workshop activities within approved budgets.
• Drive technical improvement and development initiatives with relevant teams.
• Analyze historical data and trends using Lean tools to resolve production equipment issues; provide CAPA and Engineering Department support as needed.
• Lead cross-plant collaboration and technology transfer projects with Global Engineering and other facilities.
• Maintain compliance with corporate and legal EHS standards by implementing effective strategies, controls, communication, and training.
• Champion EHS performance through proactive leadership and participation in initiatives.
• Participate in the energy committee and oversee engineering responsibilities in support of the AbbVie Energy Management System.
• Lead and keep optimized performance of engineering key indicators in the Maintenance Excellence Program.
