  • Establish launch access objectives, pricing and contracting posture, evidence needs, customer-engagement priorities, field readiness requirements, access measures, and escalation processes.
  • Ensure access considerations are incorporated into brand planning, Integrated Brand Teams, launch-readiness reviews, annual planning, long-range planning, and executive governance.
  • Guide access planning for oral oncology, medical-benefit, buy-and-bill, specialty, and rare-disease products, as applicable to the portfolio.
  • Monitor coverage, medical and pharmacy policies, utilization management, reimbursement, account activation, channel performance, and emerging access barriers.
  • Lead cross-functional resolution of significant payer, channel, reimbursement, policy, or operational access issues.
  • Incorporate customer and field insights into launch planning and post-launch strategy refinement.

Pricing, Contracting, and Financial Planning

  • Lead the development and evolution of payer, PBM, GPO, Federal, and community oncology contracting strategies across the Hematology portfolio.
  • Guide traditional rebate, value-based agreement, innovative contracting, and GPO contracting approaches based on current and anticipated market conditions.
  • Lead the Market Access contribution to annual Plan, latest best estimate, long-range planning, forecasting, and resource-allocation processes.
  • Assess the access, financial, and government-pricing implications of major strategic and contracting decisions.
  • Partner with Finance, Pricing, Contracting, Trade, Legal, Policy, and Market Access leadership to frame options, risks, sensitivities, and recommendations.
  • Ensure contracting and financial assumptions reflect customer insights, field intelligence, account performance, policy developments, and competitive dynamics.
  • Establish effective governance, performance measures, and escalation pathways for major contracting and access investments.

Customer and Field Strategy

  • Develop differentiated clinical and economic value strategies for payer, PBM, GPO, Federal, institutional, IDN, and community oncology customers.
  • Partner with Market Access account teams and Oncology field leadership to translate portfolio priorities into actionable customer-engagement strategies.
  • Establish structured feedback mechanisms that integrate customer insights, field observations, access trends, policy changes, and competitive intelligence into strategy evolution.
  • Ensure field teams have the training, evidence, resources, and escalation support required for effective customer engagement and access execution.
  • Promote meaningful customer exposure for Hematology Market Access team members through field engagements, advisory activities, and relevant professional organizations.
  • Communicate portfolio strategy, marketplace developments, performance, risks, and required actions to field and leadership audiences.

Enterprise and Alliance Leadership

  • Serve as the senior Hematology Market Access partner to Oncology commercial, brand, functional, and U.S. Market Access leadership.
  • Represent Market Access in Integrated Brand Teams, pipeline teams, strategic planning forums, and executive decision-making processes.
  • Align Brand, Market Access, Field, Finance, Medical, HEOR, Trade, Legal, Regulatory, Patient Services, Policy, and Government Affairs stakeholders around shared access priorities.
  • Establish clear governance, ownership, decision rights, milestones, performance measures, and escalation pathways for priority workstreams.
  • Provide concise recommendations that clarify strategic choices, access implications, financial impact, risks, and required decisions.
  • Lead Market Access collaboration with external alliance and co-commercialization partners, where applicable.
  • Connect Hematology priorities with broader Oncology and U.S. Market Access strategies, capabilities, and operating standards.
  • Maintain an effective operating cadence for portfolio strategy, access performance, launch readiness, marketplace developments, and executive communication.

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Hematology Market Access Marketing team.
  • Establish a clear team mission, portfolio priorities, roles, decision rights, expectations, and ways of working.
  • Build an inclusive, transparent, high-trust, and high-accountability culture.
  • Empower team members to operate with a business-owner mindset and confidently represent Market Access with brand, field, and functional leaders.
  • Develop talent through coaching, timely feedback, recognition, stretch assignments, and cross-functional exposure.
  • Build individual development and succession plans aligned with future Oncology Market Access needs.
  • Assess and evolve the team structure, capabilities, and allocation of responsibilities as the Hematology portfolio changes.
  • Promote continuous learning across access strategy, customer dynamics, pricing, contracting, financial planning, policy, and enterprise leadership.

Performance and Operational Excellence

  • Establish clear measures for portfolio access, launch readiness, contracting execution, customer engagement, financial performance, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Create consistent portfolio reporting and executive communication regarding strategy, progress, risks, opportunities, and decisions.
  • Monitor execution against priorities, milestones, resource commitments, contracting plans, and financial assumptions.
  • Identify and escalate material access issues early and drive clear ownership of resolution.
  • Prioritize resources across brands and workstreams, simplifying or discontinuing lower-value activities when appropriate.
  • Maintain operating processes that support compliant, efficient, and high-quality execution
