The Opportunity

Due to internal mobility, we are currently seeking an ambitious and results driven Product Specialist to join our Biosurgery Team in Brisbane on a permanent full-time basis; primarily responsible for promoting and selling J&J’s Surgical/Adjunctive Haemostat products to Surgeons from a wide range of specialties including Bariatrics, Colorectal, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Cardiovascular, Spinal Neurosurgery etc.

Predominantly a field-based role, you will be required to engage with Specialist Surgeons and key hospital decision makers, develop relationships and new business opportunities to increase market share and meet sales targets. As the product subject matter expert, you will also provide in-theatre technical support and in-service training, ensuring maximum benefit and application of J&J’s suite of Biosurgery products.

You will inherit an established Brisbane Metro North and Rockhampton territory.

About You

• Degree qualified, with minimum 2-3 years hospital sales experience within medical devices or pharma and experience working in the operating theatre environment
• Passion for building strong effective relationships and driving commercial outcomes, and tenacity and enthusiasm with a true desire to understand and support customers
• Strong collaborative nature to work as a team, and highly organised with the ability to function independently as a field-based representative
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, and the ability to travel domestically to the assigned territory
