Job Description

The Attach & Train Programme is a structured talent development programme designed to build skilled talent for Singapore’s advanced biomedical manufacturing sector through practical, industry-based training that develops the technical skills and capabilities needed to support the industry’s current and future workforce needs. 
 
As a Technical Engineer Trainee, your development will take place through a 15-month structured on-the-job training programme within our Technical Centre team. You will work alongside experienced professionals to provide technical support for biologics manufacturing processes, contributing to process monitoring, troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives. 
 
Due to the nature of the programme and its eligibility requirements, applicants must be Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents. 

What You’ll Do 

  • Provide technical support for ongoing biologics manufacturing operations and improvement initiatives. 

  • Initiate, develop and execute process improvements. 

  • Serve as a supporting technical subject matter expert and assist with manufacturing support activities. 

  • Support technology transfers for clinical and commercial manufacturing. 

  • Address and resolve technical problems under supervision, including troubleshooting and investigation activities involving multidisciplinary issues. 

  • Perform standard data analysis and identify critical data for manufacturing processes and operations under supervision. 

  • Assist with continuous improvement activities. 

  • Write technical reports and support the consistency and quality of technical documentation. 

  • Author batch records, SOPs, investigations, process impact assessments, protocols and risk assessments as required.
